NEW SYNOPSIS FOR CRY WOLF

As follows...

In the new teen thriller Cry_Wolf, eight unsuspecting high school seniors playing a game of lies come face-to-face with terror and learn that nobody believes a liar…even when they’re telling the truth.

After one too many incidents of bad behavior at his last school, Owen Matthews (Julian Morris) arrives at Westlake Prep – where a young woman has recently been found murdered in the dark woods near the boarding school’s campus. Owen quickly falls in with the school’s unofficial “liars’ club,” including the beautiful and savvy Dodger (Lindy Booth of Dawn of the Dead and Wrong Turn) and quick-talking, short-tempered Tom (Jared Padalecki of the new TV series Supernatural). At Owen’s suggestion, his new friends decide to expand their game’s reach beyond campus, by spreading an online rumor that a serial killer called “The Wolf” committed the recent murder and is planning to strike again.

The mischievous group’s descriptions of “The Wolf’s” intended victims are based on the people they know best – each other. Only when the school’s journalism teacher, Rich Walker (Jon Bon Jovi), warns the group about the kinds of predators that lurk on the internet does Owen begin to regret sending their falsified story into cyberspace. When the described “victims” suddenly start to disappear, Owen, Dodger and Tom are no longer able to determine where the lies end and the truth begins. As someone – or something – starts hunting the players themselves, the game turns terrifyingly real.

BILLY DUFFY BRINGS THE LOVE REMOVAL MACHINE TO SIN-JIN SMYTH!!!

BILLY DUFFY of THE CULT agreed to terms with SNAP KICK PRODUCTIONS INC. and saddles up with the rebel alliance behind the production of SIN-JIN SMYTH (www.sin-jinsmyth.com)!

The film (Written and Directed by Ethan Dettenmaier)---which follows two federal marshals who man an isolated Federal Outpost in the American Midwest as they receive an emergency message one night (over Halloween weekend) to blitz across the border into the Kansas Badlands (moments after a tornado warning) for the midnight prisoner transfer of man with no identity (and set against a Kansas legend about a Midnight appearance of the Devil every Halloween in a quiet, local cemetery)---is currently in production and set to hit theatres towards the end of next summer…

In a very inventive move, Duffy will contribute original guitar work to the Score, (Collaborating with the orchestral work of MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE), serve as Music Supervisor and lock and load for a part in the film as a rogue government agent who specializes in interrogation and torture!

And from a Music Supervisor stand point he will be backed up by the library of the SANCTUARY RECORDS GROUP which in addition to THE CULT includes MOTORHEAD, IRON MAIDEN, ROBERT PLANT, FLEETWOOD MAC, THE WU-TANG CLAN, ANTHRAX, NEIL YOUNG, BILLY IDOL and MORRISSEY just to name a few). So get ready because they plan to get loud!

SIN-JIN SMYTH DIRECTOR'S VISION IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Ethan Dettenmaier, director of the upcoming horror movie, SIN-JIN SMYTH has a vision. A vision that real horror fans share alike. In that light you need to do yourself a favour and listen to this man speak, because he speaks with conviction.

SIN-JIN SMYTH is easily the most exciting horror movie in the works for a long time, not only because of Ethan's foresight -coupled with hindsight- as a director and writer, but as a fan, like us, first and foremost. And that is what sets him apart from the Hollywood 'big shot' directors who can't make a proper, good horror flick.

Check out this interview (mp3 file) Ethan carried out with GRAVE THOUGHTS RADIO. And keep an eye out for the official SIN-JIN SMYTH messageboard, which is opening up on GUTS AND GORY this weekend.

In the meantime check out the all new Feature's layout. Titles currently under the spotlight include The Devil's Rejects, Chaos, Hellbent and The Descent. Enjoy!

THE DEVIL'S REJECTS ARE HEADING FOR YOUR FRONT ROOM!

Click to enlarge It is the very horror movie that everybody -in the zone- has been talking about, one way or another. To the point where ridiculous box office aspirations were dreamed up. In reality it done magnificently at the Box Office, being the sleazy piece of trash that it is, and the PIT fully endorses it as an instant classic. Suffice to say we are very happen when our very own John Gray reports (on Guts and Gory) the following...

"Lions Gate Home Entertainment has confirmed that Rob Zombie's, The Devil's Rejects will hit DVD on November 8th in both rated and unrated editions. Now we can see the Dr. Satan footage that was cut!!!"

Rich Carlin says to that... "BRING IT ON" ... not that crap teeny-bopper movie, but the exploitation... more please Mr. Zombie! Or should I said 'sleaze'?
