How Jason Became |

|
A young boy tip toes at the water's edge, frightened to wade into the murky water of Crystal Lake. His name is Jason Voorhees, he is 11 years old and mentally handicapped. It is late at night, around 10 or 11 pm and Jason has wandered out of his cabin where the rest of the children are sleeping, in a desperate attempt to overcome his fear of the water and learn to swim. The camp councillors meanwhile are having a party in their cabin, smoking weed and making out, totally oblivious to the danger young Jason is in. Plucking up much courage the little boy wades out gradually to neck depth in the icy cold water, but suddenly the lake bed falls beneath him and Jason finds himself out of his depth, panicking Jason splashes around in fear and begins screaming for help, for his mother… |
