Personal Observations...

So far I have not observed too much with this species. There are conflicting reports online as how best to keep this species in terms of humidity and temperature. One thing I will say is that my specimens prefer moist areas of the enclosure to drier parts. That said, one specimen prefers the hot side of the enclosure while the other prefers the cooler side. Although I would believe that they can tolerate a range of temperatures and that both sides of the tank fit into that range.

Currently they are very docile, slow to use their sting at any annoyance. They do not grab with their pincers or go into a defensive posture. You could equate their reaction to any disturbance as more "playing dead" that anything else, although I believe this reaction will surely change as they mature.

Finally, being a member of the Buthidae family and probably having atleast moderately potent venom, this species should only be kept by advanced and experienced keepers in the hobby.
