The Basics...

6 year old Michael - Audrey - Myers murdered his elder sibbling - Judith Myers - on Halloween night. He butchered her with a kitchen knife. Some 15 years later after spending time at Smith's grove Sanitarium Michael escapes to relive the terror he needs to fufill on Halloween night - 1979. Michael's evil quest is seems to have no purpose...or does it?

A little More Depth...

Myers, in our opinion anyway is what he is, although simple to class--a 'psychopathic killer' - It is much harder to explain or possibly understand. In the original film he is portrayed as a killing machine without much purpose other than that he is a very disturbed individual with a drive to kill all who get in his way. However as the series progresses as does the plot...and in tow so does the character of Michael Myers. We learn that Michael's primary target in the original film--Laurie Strode--Is actually his sister and then some basis of a more specific plot falls into place...Michael hunts his family or so it seems, based on the evidence the script writers and movie makers have left behind from the movies. This short analysis of the early Michael Myers character is just that and in saying so there is not much point of being drawn towards the "Thorny side of things"
